In recognition of World Suicide Prevention Day on September 10 and National Suicide Prevention Month, all Audacy stations nationwide will air the I’m Listening broadcast special the week of September 8, uniting listeners nationwide to support mental health awareness and advocacy. Check local listings for exact dates and times.

Audacy’s mental health initiative, I’m Listening, is continuing to spread mental health awareness with help from artists, actors, medical professionals and others during our annual I’m Listening broadcast special. In partnership with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), the program highlights mental health resources and the lifesaving benefits of open communication, and serves as a safe space for those struggling with mental health, encouraging them to call in with their experiences and learn about mental wellness tools, showing them that they are never alone.

Radio personality and co-host of NBC’s TODAY and The Voice, Carson Daly, and Audacy’s Katie Neal host the broadcast alongside psychologist, author, scientist, and founder of the mental health nonprofit, The AAKOMA Project, Dr. Alfiee M. Breland-Noble, and AFSP’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Christine Yu Moutier. The 2025 edition of I'm Listening features in-depth conversation from mental health professionals and artists including Cynthia ErivoAlex WarrenKane BrownLISALewis CapaldiShirley MansonTate McRae311Amy LeeNe-Yo, and more.

Beyond broadening the mental health conversation, Audacy has raised over $2 million in support of national and local organizations by collaborating with partners like AFSP on events and experiences, including the upcoming annual We Can Survive concert, starring Ed SheeranGoo Goo DollsAlex Warren, and Shaboozey at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ on Friday, September 26. A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit AFSP and their life-saving work of delivering education, loss support, advocacy efforts and community-based programs, including their ongoing public service campaign, “Talk Away the Dark,” which raises awareness of how to spot the warning signs for suicide and having real conversations that connect people to help.
